Every February, all over the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones in the name of romance and affection. Candlelit dinners and dancing, amorous walks on the beach under a full moon, sensuous massages and whatever they may lead to. Valentine's day has long been recognized as the day of the year when lovers go out of their way to do something special for one another, and when those in love take a chance and reveal their secret crushes and hearts desires.
We here at CE Speaker have made it our mission this month to spread some of the love we feel for our family, friends, and those in between, with our readers all over the country, and we're doing it by sharing with you a selection of articles and excerpts related to Cupid’s forte, love.
Our free podcast for this month is entitled A Month for Sharing Family Love. In it we invite readers to entertain the idea of Valentine's Day with a twist. Not only could we celebrate the holiday with displays of affection for our lovers, why not show our parents and brothers and sisters how much we love them too!
Jukebox brings us way to the 1967 release of The Turtles singing Happy Together. This song has long been an uplifting anthem for lovers everywhere, and has lasted throughout the ages.
In Screen Talk, we listen as Hollywood's finest flirt and converse with one another. Alex tries to pick up Sara in a bar. Jack and Isabel attempt to iron out love’s wrinkles. Bruce and Grace tease and trifle with one another. Finally Jon and Liz discover their mutual high school crushes for one another.
Our Wonderful Life section this month encourages us to see through the starry-eyes of authors, one through her diary, and another by the love letter written to his future wife.
