当年无意在Myspace上发现了这个团
扑面而来的就是背景音乐Blind in Darkness
一下子被那股黑暗沉重的气势震住了

乐队核心人物Adrian Hates9岁开始学习古典吉他
15岁留学美国，在留学的时间开始接触钢琴，然后为之着迷
80年代末期，Diary Of Dreams宣告成立
但直到1994年乐队才发行了第一张专辑“Cholymelan”
这张专辑在吉他手Alistair Kane的协力帮助下不失为乐队的一张经典之作
为广大歌迷和地下音乐媒体所赞誉

然而随着乐队96年发行的第二张专辑“End of Flowers”
Diary of Dream的发展已势不可挡
这张专辑由Adrian自己的品牌Accession唱片发行
专辑“End of Flowers”的发行
让Diary of Dreams巩固了自己在歌特/暗潮音乐领域内的地位
Adrian的每张作品都能够成功地一次次超越以前的专辑
乐队的歌迷数量同时也在不断上升
独立媒体对乐队的采访越来越多，好评如潮。

1998年乐队阵容有所变动
[Os]mium和Christian Berghoff加入了乐队
这为乐队的现场表演水平打下了良好的基础
同时为乐队的音乐和创作注入一股新鲜活力
这无疑也促进了Diary of Dreams第四张专辑在98年初的全新诞生
在这张“Psychoma”中乐队在音乐中结合了更多的电子元素
然而新的音乐元素在富有技巧的表现手法
没有使Diary of Dreams丧失他们原先独特而具有亲和力的声音
同时乐队凭借专辑中富有哲理性的歌词和华丽眩目的歌曲
在不断前进发展的历程中又迈出了坚实的一步

It took some time to find these words
I wrote them down in hope that they might help
Watch me walk barefoot on glass
Insecure as only a newborn child can be

Others came to laugh at me
They pointed fingers as I could see
Believe me saying it's not the skin
It's the stranger living deep inside

I painted flowers to survive
And as they faded I stopped to paint
I fell asleep
and nobody knows why ..
